If you don't use your car very often, then be less of a prick and park further down the street where there is more open parking. Its aggravating as hell to live next to what was once a single family home that has become a rental to 5-7 people where each person has a car without any understanding of common courtesy toward their neighbors.

On that same note, if your apt building basement has limited bike storage, only store your bike there if you ride it often. In my building all the daily bike riders have to haul their bikes down and back up 3-4 flights of stairs because of all the bikes collecting dust in the bike room.

Had a neighbor who would always call and report my car as "abandoned; been there for weeks, etc." every time I parked in front of her house for even an hour. I think she just hated Volkswagens.

You can come park that shit in front of my house so I can sell it on eBay. Just make sure you wash and vacuum it first.

After first, I didn't recognize that this was your own neighborhood, and I thought you were being a dickhole. But if it's your hood, shit, park there.

Suggestion: be smarter (than posting on IA) in dealing with crazy ass neighbors. And stop "living moderately sustainably", because that just fucking sucks.
