Dumbass the bridge is for an extension of the MAX. It also contains bike lanes. I hardly think asking people to suggest a name constitutes a "battle". Find a real issue to form opinions around, would you?

We got a thank you letter too. 9,500 submissions and the 4 they picked were the best? Oh well,fame is short lived,and some of us were looking for better names. If I was a part of naming the bridge, I would be thrilled to know I was part of the history of this really neat bridge. Just having no cars on it will be so very nice. My name was SACAJAWEA. My husband's was ALONDRA-Meadowlark in Spanish. Now that your rolling your eyes,we will see all you bikers on the bridge. Weird people name Weird bridges.
