well this is personal.

I,A your dad did the best he could for you. Nobody is perfect. You found that out.

The only thing anybody really has is family so when they are gone, nothing funny about that.

I can understand this one. My father suffers from dementia. At times he is so difficult that I want to shake the shit out of him. Sometimes I am resentful that he isn't who he used to be. I just hope that isn't what I mainly remember after he passes.

I can't be sure from the post, but hopefully your father is still alive. If so, it's never too late to try and make amends.

If he has passed, hopefully you've forgiven him for whatever he did. But more importantly, please try to forgive yourself. No easy task, but crucial for your future well being.

Good luck!!!

If you miss him tell him so. It is important to forgive yourself, realize you were once a mess. Lots of people have turned their life arounds with actions that show it. He's your Dad. He must be a good one.

Lots of parents are horrible. I grew up when I wrote mine off once and for all. It is hard sometimes, but no reason to continue the relationship. Not everybody bonds with their kids, but instead of admitting it, they let their bewildered kids hold the bag.

You killed your dad. That's not me talking.

Please wait...
