What's most racist is confining these 17 year old minors on military base concentration camps. Portland State University enrolls undocumented students and even provides jobs to undocumented non-students. It's Summer Term and the dorms are mostly empty, now. If the dorms fill up, then there are plenty of high rise parking structures and showers in the locker rooms.

Bring them all to Portland.

Why can't we go back to the time when America was inhabited by only the whites? You know, before the Native-Americans invaded this great country and liquidated any trace of its original white inhabitants, only to grow fat and lazy living off the land and respecting nature.

A couple of you ghosts seem to be missing the point that Spanish are considered Caucasian, and that the issue is not one of race, despite La Raza, whatever race that is supposed to be, but rather an issue of nationality. In fact, for what it's worth, most Mexican Americans are not in favor of amnesty. When the Irish wave of immigration occurred, that group was unwelcome due to a shortage of employment opportunities for Americans at that time, too. Yes, there is such a thing as Black Irish, but that wasn't the issue then any more than it is now. However, most Americans of African descent are particularly displaced by Latinos. It's simply a matter of numbers, not race. First solve the unemployment problem in the United States and provide proper support for the poor on the street, then when there is a labor shortage, consider admitting immigrants who have properly applied and have been patiently waiting in their home countries.

I'm glad that none of you object to me promoting Portland as a magnet city for this current influx, however.

When PSU first laid off unionized cafeteria workers and rented out kiosk space to private vendors, there was a really excellent pasta stand, which is long since gone and greatly missed. Also, there was a great, gourmet burrito cart over by the apostate chapel that's been bought off to leave. Both of those, or all three maybe I should say, are all kaput.

You'd think that with that mischievous little Dutch boy, Wim Wiewel as president of PSU, that there would be a cheese and chocolate kiosk and in the spirit of Dutch tolerance, an on campus Cannabis coffee shop and brothel. Of course, with the current influx of drug cartel members and promiscuous senoritas and as there's a shortage of jobs, who knows?

Of course as everyone is aware, a burrito is an American invention as well as being a small donkey.
