Three Steven King references. Not bad.

This is very sad that the cat got hurt, and the rant makes me glad there are people like you to show your love for animals.

So I'm supposed to be upset about this "horrible Christine-style car", a "heartless, soulless, Maximum Overdrive monster" rather than the irresponsible pet owner who lets their animal wander around public streets at night.

Maybe this was just "karma"

Cats need nine lives because of their poor decision making skills. Keep hitting that reset button kitty!

My cat wants to run around in the road. Now it's your fault!

Should've said "...you're in for IT." But Carrie on.

Cats aren't worth any points. That's the real injustice, here.

Another thing to consider is that old American cars were built big and strong. It is quite possible the driver thought they ran over a small branch or any other piece of road debris, so I wouldn't assume that the driver was drunk and didn't give a shit. That said, sorry for your loss

I did think about those things, but the driver did seem pretty drunk to me. As in scary, speedy, and out of control. I still wonder if that was the worst damage he caused that night. I mean, sure, we can yell at my friend for letting her cat outside at some point, but I'm still mostly pissed at the drunk driver. Kitty doesn't tend to play in the street, btw. He was minding his cat business in some bushes on the sidewalk.

Please wait...
