Also sorry to say but using your kids as leverage in an argument is going to earn laughs from most sane people, myself included. No idea why you thought camping on the 4th of July (which happened to fall on a friday this year) would be a quiet, early-to-bed affair. Weird.

HHhrrrmmmm, my support of this bitch blog really depends on location.
As a parent, you need to do a bit of research when it comes to camping on a holiday weekend. I think the people who enjoy camping, enjoy it for the drinking in nature (along with being one in nature, blah blah blah).
If you went to a family camp site, that shit would have been put out by the rangers by 9pm. If you set up a tent at the coast or a RV stop - your bad.
I camp where it's not kid friendly so I can drink and curse and stay up late without upsetting the mommies and the daddies.
