If you don't figure it out by thirty, maybe a fantasist can write you a subscription.

Since when has the Mercury published staff resumes?

Sounds like you've got it all figured out, in that, you'll eventually figure out what you want to do with your life by 30. Unlike everybody else, huh?

Welcome to Portland!!! You'll fit right in.

Okay, if you want to be a "big city girl", you're going to have to go to a big city. This isn't that.

Thanks for your ever-so original take on Portland, though! I definitely haven't heard that from every newly arrived 20-something, right before it starts raining and they go back home where they can find a job.

Good for you,and don't get discouraged. Competition in any city is hard if you don't have that extra something. What is encouraging for you, is you have a dream. Make it happen.

You will do well I bet, and get involved in the book clubs,
museums, arts, and go for what you want. Welcome to Portland.
