It *is* inadvisable, at least drive in reverse so you can claim you were just going to back into a parking spot.

Some insurance company ranked US cities on how many accidents they had per capita, from least to most. Portland was around 150th. Drivers here are *terrible*. If nothing else, put the goddamn phone out of reach and pay attention to your surroundings.

UGH! I just moved here recently and the drivers here are terrible! My biggest complaint right now is the people who come to a complete stop on the highway to "merge" into the off ramp. As if their time is any more important that the 127 other people who have been in the congested off ramp that they just passed. Secondly I'm pissed at all those idiots that gladly let them. I swear the driving habits of the people here account for at least 25% of the traffic congestion. IDIOTS!!!

Here's a solution, just stay home and drink whiskey and eat hot pockets and watch netflix until you lose your job and can't afford to drive anymore. Then, the only thing you'll have to rant about will be Tri-met. Win Win.

All drivers everywhere are terrible.

I have been impressed at seeing more than one person turn the wrong way down Yamhill downtown while driving on top of those giant bumps intended to discourage people from driving on the MAX tracks.

Is there a way to wave apologetically for this rant?

don't like it? move back from where you came, fucksticks

I'm gonna go on record stating that you have to worry about the "right way" drivers as well.

I believe that street has not always been a one way street, so you may be seeing country bumpkins who don't come to the city very often getting confused by the change in traffic patterns. No excuse for the person who has done it several times though; but they, like you, are probably not from around here.

Please wait...
