Funny story, I'm writing this post in Las Vegas, where fashion ultimately goes to DIE. However, it's hot and sunny and I can see the pool from my hotel window, but instead of being down there I'm writing this so you, people of Portland, will know all of the fashion happenings for this week, which happen to be pretty slim! But here we go:

Anne Bocci Boutique is celebrating it's ninth year in business and jumping into its 10th by offering 20% off all Michelle Lesniak designs until the end of the month. Anne Bocci has been a longtime champion of emerging and established designers in Portland, so if for some reason you have not yet stopped in to her boutique, go already!!!!

May is usually quiet in terms of fashion shows, so if you need a quick fix before the summer glut check out Paint the Runway Purple. The show will feature looks by Desi Designs as well as emerging designers Joy Sircar McMillen, Kate Miles, Andres M. Pinedo and Kendra Jones and is a fundraiser to send Desi Designs and her fashion team to the Art Hearts Fashion Shows, a part of LA Fashion Week.
