Since the last season of The Bachelor ended back in March, an empty stretch of time has loomed over me. An era of darkness wherein no love, excitement, nor spectacle existed. Life has been a grey monotone world complete with slow, sad piano music.

But TONIGHT The Bachelorette premieres, and now the world is like one of those prescription drug commercials for depression and the color is flooding in. I can see flowers and a meadow!

As I did with The Bachelor, I'll be recapping JoJo's journey to find love in an effort to document the sweet diptych that is the Bachelor/Bachelorette yin and yang. Join me, if you will. Or don't, because this show is awful.
