Somewhat recently we asked for your help in supporting fund raising efforts for our good friend and former writer for the Mercury, Will Gardner, who was fighting brain cancer. We're sad to report he lost that fight, but he was among good friends and loved ones when he passed. Will did some amazing, wonderful things on this earth (as well as for the Mercury—check out these fun, life-lovin' articles on his visit to a nudist colony, and a cuddle party), and we will never forget him. If you were a friend or admirer, you're invited to a party to celebrate Will's life this coming Sunday, June 26th at 1 pm at the Spare Room (4830 NE 42nd). Those in attendance will party like he lived his life—with plenty of motherfucking joie de vivre (and karaoke from 3-6 pm!). Hope you can make it.
