MORE LIKE O YAY O YAY: The Supreme Court today struck down Texas' controversial, paternalistic abortion restrictions by a 5-3 vote. These restrictions, which needlessly required clinics to comply with standards for surgical centers—despite the fact that abortion is a low-risk procedure often performed in a doctor's office—had already forced roughly half of the state's clinics to close, advocates say.

“We conclude that neither of these provisions offers medical benefits sufficient to justify the burdens upon access that each imposes," wrote Justice Stephen G. Breyer in the majority opinion. "Each places a substantial obstacle in the path of women seeking a previability abortion, each constitutes an undue burden on abortion access, and each violates the Federal Constitution.”

SCOTUS also upheld a federal law that bans domestic abusers from getting guns.

MEANWHILE: Senator Elizabeth Warren and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton made a campaign stop in Cincinnati today where they basically just effusively praised each other in front of a frenzied crowd when they weren't railing against for-profit universities and promising to tax the rich.
