In Istanbul: A suicide attack at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport Tuesday night has killed 41 people and injured over 200. The attack has yet to be claimed by any group, but officials are saying they suspect the Islamic State's involved. Almost immediately after the attack, reports the New York Times, a small number of flights resumed operation out of the airport and today, traffic to the airport proceeded "almost like on a normal weekday."

Here's a tremendously unhelpful response from Donald Trump.

Speaking of which: A new Quinnipiac poll shows Hillary Clinton ahead of Trump by "just two points," so please check up on your voter registration now. Another poll has Clinton ahead in key battleground states. Nate Silver jumps in too, saying there's a 79 percent chance HRC triumphs. Meanwhile, I'm going to try not to look at polls and quietly panic all summer. I suggest you do the same.

After a new House Benghazi Committee report came out finding nothing to pin on then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and wasting a fuck-ton of money and time, the GOP continues to beat the dead horse of its investigation into the attacks on Benghazi. The sister of slain Benghazi ambassador Chris Stevens would like them to stop.

A Manhattan judge has thrown out a fraternity's lawsuit against Rolling Stone's now-retracted, notoriously misreported article about campus rape at UVA. While that piece should never have made it through the fact-checking process, U.S. District Judge P. Kevin Castel says that the bros who filed suit against Rolling Stone for slandering their fraternity don't have a case, writing, "Their defamation claims are directed toward a report about events that simply did not happen."

I can't tell if this headline is intentionally condescending or just deeply tone-deaf. But I, for one, am glad to see more transgender people running for office.

In Harney County: Voters have overwhelmingly rejected an attempt to recall Judge Steve Grasty, a recall apparently prompted by Grasty's correct opposition to Ammon Bundy's occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in January.

Today, in things that aren't surprising if you just got your rent increase for the year or tried to move in the last seven months: Property values in Oregon have been growing faster than anywhere else in the country.

Donald Trump continues to be confused about rape.

Oh shit, and: Donald Trump continues to be confused about rape. We should really just come up with a drinking game at this point.

Piers Morgan continues to be a dick.

So anyway, here's a video of Michelle Obama telling men to be better. You can also make it your ringtone, if you want to have a little thrill every time your phone rings. Good morning!
