Funny thing is, it's not "their" ground, it's the public ground. Similar to how Portland Tenants United thinks people are being no-cause evicted from "their" homes, which are actually the landlords' homes that they get to live in temporarily pursuant to a rental contract.

Just ran into a Street Roots guy who was beaten to a pulp over the weekend by 3 meth heads. I hear an awful lot about how the Springwater Corridor and other homeless camps are rife with these kind of sleazebags.
I sure hope Ree isn't championing the causes of those kind of dirtbags. From my discussions with some of the folks at Street Roots, they need or want these kind of camps. Your thoughts Ree?
