I'm glad you were there to help. OTOH, one of the first things you learn in a lifesaving course is to be careful about being dragged under by the person you are trying to save. Don't be so quick to condemn those who walked past the obviously disturbed person threatening to jump off a bridge. Maybe those people were not emotionally or physically equipped to deal with the situation; I'm sure most of them were not so equipped.
Again, kudos to you and the other Samaritan who helped that poor soul. I don't know if you're a religious person, ANONYMOUS, but if you are, you should probably throw some more offerings into the plate on Sunday or pray extra hard this week. Because things could have very easily gone quite another way.
