I used to feel bad that I never read comic books when I was younger. Too busy with other things and I'm not a big collector-type. Whenever I read stories like this, I thank the universe for pointing me in a different direction.

It would be nice to be able to say this is something surprising, a woman leaving Twitter because of shit like this but it has become an all too common story. Every woman I know who writes generally have a practice of not reading the comments on pieces they have written.

One friend was recently attacked on Twitter being "blamed" for a new blog that approaches a topic from a feminist angle. It's not her blog, she just dared to speak highly of it. Happy that since then she now has a guest post on it.
