You, the Merc thinks this is funny...that this is a joke. What occurred had no honor. What occurred is bullying. What occurred will NEVER be forgotten by those in the HOME. What occurred is abuse. And the best part is, the activists really didn't know why they were there....Let's be clear about what happened, the protestors went to the Wheeler Home. Where, Ted, his wife, and their Daughter live. There is NOTHING that warrants an ambush on a family unit, as they are getting ready for bed, and absolutely vulnerable. It made me sick to my stomach listening to the screams of terror of those inside the home. Imagine, if this happened to you Dirk...would it be funny to you?

Note: Ms. Wheeler has every right to be angry that convicted sex offender/ anti-cop videographer "Uncle Bob" West was near her house filming. He is banned from PPS property and any movement that tolerates his presence at a family home has lost credibility.

Whoa, the reaction by Wheeler's wife speaks volumes. For starters if a group of people came to my house in the middle of the night, the first thing I would do is negotiate, ask them why they are there. I wouldn't jump to "your going to injure my child". Seeing how I watch city council meetings far too much, I watched an "episode" where a woman who was protesting a homeless shelter building being put up next to her waterfront apartment come to city council to speak. She brought her 4 year old child with her. She proceeded to say that the homeless people from the proposed shelter obviously would be interested in her 4 year old daughter and not so much in having a warm shelter. It was a real moment. It was even written about in the Oregonian, but Schmidt didn't quite capture the full effect of that scene.

People look so much smarter when they are silent. I would have just assumed Wheeler's wife was a normal person throughout his entire term had she remained quiet. But to jump to "it must be sexualized and it must be about my elementary age daughter" says more about her than it does about the protesters who have done this a few times before. Does Wheeler's wife even read the paper? Wheeler's wife must not be political savvy in the least, which means she is basically a dumb bitch who doesn't understand what is going on. No wonder Wheeler has the attitude he does around control, police and minorities. He probably an abusive relationship with her. I know titles and money speak more to people than nonsensical, bizarre actions and thoughts, but after seeing this I'm concluding Wheeler's wife is probably on drugs. Seeing how they have so much money, its probably coke. I have always been suspicious as to why Wheeler and his wife were both bone thin as were Hales and Nancy as well. Wheeler's wife is the worst image he has thus far.
