If you live here this is the time to give to pay respect to the heroes and strengthen our community. It's great to see everyone coming together. Even Nick Zukin who was listed in your blog "This Week in Appropriation: Kooks Burritos and Willamette Week" as being guilty of cultural appropriation (on the white owned appropriative restaraunts list) is taking part in giving back to the community.
