Good for Portland! The "Freedom" Foundation is an extreme right-wing group that obtains lists of public employees and harasses and misleads them with anti-union propaganda. They don't care one bit about the well being of workers.

The purpose of the request is irrelevant. Either the records are public record or they aren't.

What hypocrites. When the union is trying to organize, they go door to door to worker's homes trying to get them to sign a card to bring in a union, and the company has to sit by and watch. When a group like the Freedom Foundation wants to do the same thing to convince the union members to dump the union, now it's a real problem and the union wants their members protected. The government should not give the unions special treatment and protections.
