Move to Portland! It's a great place to be homeless.

Aaron Altman - help out by donating to domestic abuse shelters and not giving money to homeless people

Unless Portland has enough money to provide services to every homeless person in the country, it will continue to be an unsolveable problem locally. Provide supportive and housing services to folks down on their luck, disabled, mentally ill, etc., but combine that with much stricter laws on camping, public drug use, etc. It's not okay for all of Portland's taxpayers to be subsidizing the lifestyles of the homeless-by-choice crowd.
