Any gay man, and anyone who knows gay men, know we live in a sex positive subculture in which friendship and camaraderie are commonly expressed with sexual undertones. For Gonzales, and the media, to pretend otherwise, and selectively hold public officials who happen to be gay to the prudish standards of a mainstream culture which has been marginalizing us for, oh, a thousand years or so, is rank hypocrisy, as well as a convenient exploitation of heterosexism by a (self hating?) gay man with a history of filing lawsuits, and reporters who love the click bait their hypocrisy generates.
