The fact that almost everyone quoted in this book has asked for a redaction of their statements says more about this book than anything else. As someone who was living in Brooklyn and working in the music industry at the time, this is just a story told by someone who knew some guy in a band and dated a much better, more prolific music writer (who just so happens to be dead now). Someone I know dated that guy, too. The book is nothing but a personal story. It's not factual, it's wholly subjective. http://observer.com/2017/05/meet-me-in-t…
