this book is the biggest steaming pile of dog shit that I have ever read.

Ok first of all, its "supposed" to be a documentary sort of book. Its not. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe a documentary is not supposed to take an opinionated stance. This book stinks of anti-war, self-righteous, liberal propaganda. Direct attacks are made on christianity, various presidents (not just george bush) and of course on our "overwhelming nationalism" which apparently does alot of damage to humanity. The book makes various comments about how televisions are simply a way to "colonize" our children with impulses to buy products, how The Adventures of Huck Finn are really about a clash of races between a white boy and a black boy on a raft, and more bullshit then I thought was possible to pack into one book. Clearly banks is dreaming-because following his points of view one would be able to believe that hes never stepped foot outside of his "highly educated" academic wonderland.

0/5 stars.
