Choose Your Own Hipster Alcoholic Adventure

I read this, and found it to be quite moving and well-done. And the art is awesome - the whole thing totally looks like a CYOA.

Very unique and fascinating book. I thought the Choose Your Adventure aspect was more ironic symbolically since all the decisions seemed futile against the power of alcoholism. However I still agree that the ultimate choice was between staying and going.

I thought the book and illustrations were delightful. A whimsical story within a dark story. Not sure about Ms. Hallett's comment "The ray gun looks like a giant dildo". hmmmm really? seriously? Maybe wishful thinking on her part? Kudos to the mystery writer and especially to the illustrator.

aww, 4 comments in and you are discouraged? Why? Everyone loves your reviews, you do a great job,so don't despair. Stay don't Go. In all fairness though, from one girl to another, you did bring up the Giant D, first.

@5 ha, fair enough. but I never said it was GIANT...
7
You are the reason I like the Mercury. You make this paper.

Re: comment #5...Touche'. Turn to comment #3 for explanation and blame. How could I confuse Giant Ants with Giant D's? Perhaps I was creating my own adventure....or was it foreshadowing? Anyway...love ya.... keep up the good reviews.
