As a sixteen year old who didn't drink, most of my friends did when they were able to find somebody to buy it for them, but most of the time, it was much easier to score grass. It was when we turned eighteen, it was easy for us to buy booze, since we looked close enough to twenty-one that clerks rarely bothered to card us. I still, rarely drank, but my friends started drinking a lot more, and I was enjoying them less. Alcohol really brings out the worst in people. I quit hanging out with them for just that reason, and even stopped smoking dope. Prior to quitting, there were a few occasions where I did drink and found that if I smoked weed after drinking, it gave me the whirlys, but not if I drank after I smoked. One or two drinks after smoking out is not so bad, but getting blasted is as big a waste of good grass as it is of good sense. Sure, people ought to be able to buy any drug they want, no matter how stupid they are, just so long as they don't hurt anybody else.

I know a guy who's been experimenting with "Ganja Beer" since '07 and let me tell you, it's fucking delicious but by no means for amateurs; it'll make you stupid real fast. If you want it you gotta know someone with brewer/chemistry savvy and make it yourself but it's probably a good thing that it's not legal for distribution because there's enough people who can't handle their shit as is.
