Using "Ugh, white people." in a derogatory context is racist no matter who says it. Just like if someone were to say "Ugh, Asians." or "Ugh, Mexicans." or "Ugh, Jews.". None of these are acceptable no matter who says them.
Seeing a large group gathered outside a cafe at night, just laughing, standing, sitting, eating, drinking! White people are allowed to do this without getting a second glance from police. Or just 2 or 3 white people just sitting on a corner curb, just visiting and talking. That's OK. But when my 15yo black grandson is walking back from corner store, police rolled by and asked his name and how old he was. Basically calling him a liar. He's in high school and plays football. So when I see this kind of crap, I just might think, ugh, white people.
I'm married to a half- Japanese/ half-white woman from whom I learned the phrase: "That is so white". And you know what? She's absolutely correct. As a "race", we have to strive to be polite, classy and/ or thoughtful of others, especially those of another race. But as it has been proved time and time again, white kids have a general lack of understanding of what they say/post/do, and that it may be viewed as discriminatory towards others. But I'm content knowing that my children will have a better shot at college scholarships because they have an asian background. Wait, is that racist too?
Just pull your rich Jew card and instantly you have thousands of years of oppression to counteract the effects of your evil white skin.
