Yayyy, more hipster, whining bullshit. I can't WAIT to hear why nobody loves you on Valentine's Day. You might even write a letter bitching about the price of rappelling cord at Deek & Bryan's as you (figuratively as well as literally) tie your own noose.
Before you beguile yourself any further, please note the following:
1. You are not a sparkling gem, lost among a mountain of rocks.
2. Mainstream is not a bad thing. There's a reason the holiday has lasted longer than Christianity itself, in different forms. If you want to hate it, hate the commercialized perversion of it that corporate America is shoving down your throat.
3. Just because someone enjoys Christmas, does not make them a consumer robot. You're just projecting your self-centered opinion onto a general populace; people you probably have never met, and are products of imaginary scenarios running through your head.
4. You're very likely between the ages of 23-27. If you keep this up, you're going to kill yourself by the time you're 35 when you realize you WASTED your 20's becoming a bitter alcoholic.
5. Bitter alcoholics are not the wise cynical sages they profess themselves to be. For example: your letter. You KNOW your opinion is shit, but you fear the social rejection of anyone knowing what a negative little shit you are, on a personal level. Don't worry. They PROBABLY already know.
