Wm.™, you seem to be missing the point completely. The Cape isn't just some dumb super-hero show, it's some dumb super-hero show STARRING SUMMER GLAU. Who cares what the rest of the cast is wearing as long as her clothes are sufficiently tight and/or revealing?

I couldn't even make it to the point were the guy got the cape or whatever before I turned this one off. This was probably worse than some of those obscure short-lived 80s superhero shows and definitely worse than No Ordinary Family (which is pretty damn bad). One has to feel a bit sorry for Summer Glau after Firefly -which was Fantastic, and Terminator Sarah Conner -which was surprisingly good, this is a major step down. But who knows, she may keep getting a paycheck. Look at V it's reprehensibly bad and somehow it's still on.

Off the Map is exactly like a show in the 90's that was produced by the people who made Northern Exposure. It was called Going to Extremes.
