Wow Ms. Kazebier. I cant believe you dont get it. Carrie and Sleater Kinney are totaly from portland, and if you knew anything about this town you would know that!

Dude, who the fuck is from Portland?? This town is nothing if not full of people who weren't born here. Otherwise it would just be a couple of lumberjacks, a smattering of bankers, and a handful of hipsters with no one to impress. And before you get your knickers in a bunch, yes, I'm from here... I would say I fall into the lumberjack category.

This town has sooooooooo much local tallent that keeps getting passed up for people the media want us to believe are the local tallent.
I would name some local tallent but that would just be redundant...
We Portlanders dont expect everyone that lives here to have born here, but we are sick of musical groups moving here and calling themselvs a portland band.
Shit man,,, we didn't even want to here Sweaty Nipples anymore once they added a "front Man" from seattle. .
