Captain's Log, stardate 2014: notes from Spock's visit to planet earth for an early morning lunch
In the lore of planet earth's history villages were small clusters of medieval feudalism. The local lord rules the peasants and strangers are run out of town with pitchforks.
But during my visit to the Village Inn they gave me not stew and grog or mead but a lite stack of oatmeal pancakes and a bowl of yogurt. And though not known to the people i was looked upon kindly and invited to return. It was, quite surprising.
