I love your bid on Sarah Palin's media hunger contradicts with her demand for family privacy. If she wanted family privacy why did she keep updating about her daughter's life style to the media? I feel like she is trying really hard to convince the American people that she is fixing her family, just like she can fix a country. I have doubt that a country ruined by the GOP can be fixed by a even more conservative GOP. So did Huckabee claimed on the daily show.

I feel sorry for Bristol - one day she'll realize that her mom used her in a bid for power, her boyfriend really did mean he didn't want kids - even if the shotgun used in his wedding is in the hands of a governor of Alaska, babies stop being easy to care for as they get bigger and giving one up doesn't clean the emotional slate of she-who-gave-birth, no matter how many Oscars Juno got.

Bristol wasn't "paraded". She was with the rest of the family. What are you suggesting? That she shouldn't be included with the rest of the family supporting their wife/mother because shes pregnant out of wedlock? Why do you feel the need to smear this girl and foward e-mails about situations you know ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING about?
I am now a 30 something very sucessful business owner, and a student. I chose to better myself and my family through my mistakes and experiences.

My daughter is the light of my life. That is not to say that there weren't hard and stressful times, and things I would do differently. It has been te most fulfilling thing in my life to see the beautiful person she hs grown to be.

But, I can't say that I really wanted kids at that time in my life when I was 14. We think we know it all when we are 18...

If you want to debate abortion, or any of the other issues of the nation, that is one thing, lets have at it. But move away from the family of Sara Palin, because it is a completly seperate issue. And smearing other people for no other reason than to make you or your friends look good is wrong.

Uhh, I think someone missed the point. Hes not dissing unplanned, teenaged pregnancy, or even myspace, wtf. No where in it does he suggest that teens who have children are "a piece of shit". Hes dissing the fact that republicans want to outlaw abortion and micromanage the private lives of private citizens.

As for what he might be "suggesting" about Bristols pregnancy, he was saying how contradictory it was for the Palins to even mention Bristol being pregnant if they don't want anyone talking about it.

And unfortunatly, Sarah Palin and abortion are NOT seperate issues, because she wants to outlaw abortion, even in cases of rape or incest. And how does "smearing" Palin make him or his friends look good? Seems to me you might be the one whos bitching about something she knows absolutely nothing about.

Preach on brotha (or sista). Dan is just pointing out, rather successfully I think, the hypocracy around the whole issue. He's not dissing Bristol or her choice to have the baby or not; it's more about her mother who apparently respects her daughters right to choose while simultaneously lobbying to remove that same choice from every woman who is not currently her daughter.
