Much like our older, richer, homelier, rival publication, we also forgot to write about Jeff London this week.

Local media = amateur hour.

We have no excuse. London used to be a fixture in our local music scene. He was one part clown prince (he even did a comedy set opening for Neil Hamburger years back at an ill-fated Meow Meow show) and one part sensitive troubadour. I liked both parts. Evidently London grew tired of our cheap rent and easily livability, so he high-tailed it to New York a few years back. But tonight he returns with a set at the Towne Lounge. After the show, he'll sit you on his lap and tell you about how things used to be in this town. Expect some stern finger-waving (and some great songs, too).
