Instead of making this three separate posts and actually filling this blog with consistent content throughout the day, we decided to cram a trio of local music videos into one entry. Click through for new clips from Pyramiddd/Starfucker, Soft Tags, and Cars & Trains.

The criminally underrated Cars & Trains present us with this lovely little stop-motion clip for "Intimidated by Silence." This is actually the second video from his The Roots, The Leaves recording, you can watch the other one here. I know it's just part of the wonders of stop-motion technology, but I could really go for some self-tying shoes this morning.

Pyramiddd/Starfucker (also know as the much dirtier, P*******d) debuted a swirling new pop number during their benefit show in Salem this weekend. The video quality is terrible—unless you have cataracts and assume everything looks that blurry in real life—but you can hear this new song and watch some teenagers sway along with it. Thanks to Brad for the tip.

It only makes sense that after dropping a double LP, Mathematical Monsters, Soft Tags would already be on their third video. This clip for "Architect Song" combines live footage with a series of binary numbers. It's somehow both futuristic and incredibly low-tech (The Matrix meets ColecoVision?) at the same time. Woah, the future/past just blew my fragile little mind.
