Wulapalooza in Salem Tomorrow!
There's plenty going on in Portland this weekend, but there's also a damn fine-sounding fest down in Salem tomorrow, on campus at Willamette University
. What's a Wulapalooza
, you ask? It's "an annual earth, art and music festival," according to the Wulapalooza page
. There's plenty of day activities and student performers—at least some of which are bound to be excellent, I'd warrant—but come evening, they've put together a lineup that is as good as it gets:
5:30 pm - 6:10 pm Typhoon
6:30 pm - 7:20 pm Japandroids
7:40 pm - 8:40 pm The Dodos
8:40 pm - 9:00 pm Poi Club performs - (student fire dance)
9:00 pm- 10:00 pm Portugal. The Man
That's four excellent bands, plus some fire dancing to boot. How much does it cost? It's FREE. Well, they actually ask that non-students make a suggested donation. It's optional... but how much do they recommend?
Suggested donation: $1 or a can of food for Marion-Polk Food Share
This is the cheapest fun you'll have all weekend. More info here
