In case you were unaware, Luck-One is a damn fine local emcee. But the man's skills don't stop at the mic; he's well aware that Portland hiphop is still a foreign concept to some local music followers and now he is trying to change that, one dollar at a time.

In an attempt to strengthen the burgeoning Northwest music community, critically acclaimed local emcee Luck-One has created an innovative concept featuring some of the Northwest’s hottest young talent. “Dollar Dollar Bill Y’all” is a rare opportunity for an all ages crowd to see a number of the Northwest’s top Hip-Hop acts for only one dollar.

Dollar Dollar Bill Y’all is happening on Thursday July 1 at Salmon St. Studios (I know this is where Inspectah Deck Killah Priest played a few weeks back, but has anyone been there? What's it like?), and the full lineup includes the aforementioned Luck-One, plus sets from Grynch, Sole Provider and Matty. Despite the low door price, please don't pay in pocket change. It's called Dollar Dollar Bill Y’all not Twenty Nickels Nickels Y'all.
