If there was just one single rule to indie rock culture it's that you never claim Jimmy Eat World does anything better than Guided by Voices. Case in point, my baffling insistence that JEW (love that acronym) does a superior version of "Game of Pricks" than the Guided by Voices original. Friend to End Hits, Rob Simonsen wants to stab me in the face when I make my case for the live JEW (still love it) Radio 1 session version of the song.

Instead of embarking on yet another music nerd slap fight, I decided to gather all the "Game of Pricks" versions I could find and post them here. Turns out, they are all pretty good. JEW (okay, now it's getting old) are loyal to the urgency of the original, while the global contingent of A Sunny Day in Glasgow and Owen Pallet change things up a bit.
