I didn't get the transmitted memo from deep space in time, so pardon if this is old news. Yesterday, November 6, a bunch of nerds astronomy enthusiasts gathered at Broward College in Florida to celebrate the second annual Carl Sagan Day, which featured guest speakers (including James "The Amazing" Randi), COSMOS screenings, magic shows, and telescope workshops (?) for all to enjoy.

Sagan, who died in 1996, would would have celebrated his 76th birthday this Tuesday.

Now, please enjoy this musical tribute to the man who could really rock a turtleneck.
