Remember when we told you about how Typhoon is set to play the Late Show with David Letterman? Well they are. Actually, they already did. The band performed for the "live studio audience" at the the Ed Sullivan Theater yesterday, but the footage won't air until Thursday night.

To celebrate this achievement (it's not everyday that a small indie act makes it to national television), there will be a live viewing party hosted by the Clinton St. Theater this Thursday night at 11:30 pm. Have a beer and some popped corn as you watch the band on the big screen.

They better specify on the marquee that this is Typhoon the band, not the 1940 film that stars Dorothy Lamour. Wow, wouldja look at those gams on that dame? Clara Bow ain't got nothing on her.
