The lovely, rootsy sounds of Portland's St. Frankie Lee have filled up a new record: the group's second album Girls Say No—and how I love that title—is over on their Bandcamp page. It's a charming collection of Americana-ish roots and folk, with darker tones on tracks like "Mt. St. Helens" and gorgeous ballads like "Nine Days."

The group has a video for Slow Dance, the first track on Girls Say No, which you can watch above. It was filmed in Marfa, Texas (mystery lights!) by director Joseph Cashiola, and it co-stars a dog, which is really all I ask for in a video. St. Frankie Lee doesn't have a release show for Girls Say No just yet, but hopefully will be playing some shows around town. In the meantime, listen to Girls Say No.
