Portland's ripped and wild Mean Jeans are taking the party on the road and hitting a handful of West Coast dates over the course of the next couple weeks. While that news in itself isn't especially pressing, the Jeans are sweetening the deal by playing previously unheard material off their upcoming new record. Mean Jeans On Mars is being touted as a catchier and poppier record that still retains the lo-fi edge and creative spark that defined the band's 2009 debut. Even though we have to wait until April for Mean Jeans On Mars to be released on Dirtnap Records, the band will be debuting new songs and generally tearing up Angelo's, along with Pangea and White Fang, January 19th.
