Aan unveiled a great new cut this weekend, which premiered on OPB's In House show, and we've got it here for you as well. It's from the band's forthcoming album Amor Ad Nauseum, which I am pretty sure is Latin for "Fuck Until You Barf." Fittingly, the tune's called "I Don't Need Love," and it sees Aan skillfully colliding the catchy with the weird, and the muscular with the agile, all on top of a head-nodding beat that never quite lands where you expect it to.

They've also got a new video with Into the Woods that comes out next week, plus they're releasing "I Don't Need Love" for download on Tuesday, June 19. That's the morning after their next show, a free showcase of local bands at Mississippi Studios (3939 N Mississippi) on Monday, June 18, put together by OPB. They share a bill with Genders and Support Force. In fitting with these connections between Aan and public broadcasting, Aan's Bud Wilson says every song on the new album is dedicated to NPR broadcaster Lakshmi Singh.

Amor Ad Nauseum follows up Aan's 2010 EP I Could Be Girl for You and their 2011 7-inch "Somewhere's Sunshine." Release details yet to come.
