Few albums have had more staying power than The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Nearly two decades later, you STILL hear it in coffee shops, and more importantly, you STILL like it. Maybe that kind of pop power was a factor in the fairly tumultuous years that followed for Ms. Lauryn Hill—but who could really follow Ms. Hill through her own mind's journey? The bottom line is she made something special. Though her recent shows have been rumored to have some kinks with late starts and whatnot, they've also been selling out, and come equipped with a setlist of revamped classics. Naysayers might say one-trick pony, but it's a hell of a trick. ROBIN BACIOR
