In her exhibit Counterpoint, Sherrie Wolf juxtaposes still lifes with classic paintings of cherubs, woods, and Audubon scenes. Her arrangements play off the musical concept of counterpoint—"the art of adding a related but independent melody or melodies to a basic melody, to make a harmonic whole." JD Perkin fills his half of the Laura Russo space with ceramic figures, large and small. They have blank faces, but expressive textures and positioning, with some closely huddled in groups, or fighting static boxing matches.
