Phil Bard: What is Reality and Does it Matter Anymore

Portland Art Museum (map) Southwest
Wed., March 17, 12-1 p.m. 2010

Free

Artist Phil Bard discusses the transformation of modern photographs into digital canvases, stroked by the pixelated brush that is Photoshop. Photographic images can no longer be trusted, leaving only Girl Scouts and the elderly to carry the truth. Bard's lecture is part of Photography Council's third Wednesday "Brown Bag Series" (as in, pack your own lunch).
