Seriously, What DO Androids Dream of?

Deckard is "morally corrupt"? Hardly. His character is conflicted between his conscience (he ruminates about how bad it feels to shoot a woman in the back) and the duties of his job ( a job he has quit and essentially forced back into at the beginning of the film). Roy Baty is "full hearted and humane"? Like when he crushes Tyrell, his maker's head? Or pimps out his girlfriend Pris to manipulate Sebastian? Or is it when he leaves a genetic engineer to freeze to death after stripping him of his insulating gear?

To read this review's take on the original Blade Runner, one has to wonder if Henricksen has actually ever seen it.

Wow LR, trigger much? While the hero/villain juxtaposition might be debatable (I personally found it to be an interesting and legitmate point -- Decker does rape a vulnerable replicant, and Roy does save his life in the iconic ending), to isolate this one observation and say you wonder if the reviewer even saw the original is total overkill. I think Erik did a great job describing the original and makes sensitive and intelligent comparisons/contrasts with the long overdue sequel.
