Jodie Foster Aims for Charles Bronson

Regarding the case of "The Brave One's" bad timing; Just to give some insight, although "The Brave One" might have arrived a little late and would have been groundbreaking in the 70's or 80's, "Taxi Driver" (1976)actually came years after "Dirty Harry" (1972) and "Death Wish" (1974). Yet "Taxi Driver" is considered a better movie with a better message than Eastwood's and Bronson's gritty depiction of Vigalintism. So writing that "the films downfall comes from a case of bad timing" is not a valid or strong arguement. However, you are right in stating that "Jodie Foster just isn't a very good Carles Bronson" and on that note, neither is Kevin Bacon in "Death Sentence".
