Why in the Hell would anyone waste time and MONEY on yet another unwanted, un-called-for, UN-necessary American re-make of a faaar superior international film that was released just 2 or 3 years prior?!
"You don't learn a lot from perfect'? Really? Even a dullard, hipster or Abercrombie model could learn a great deal from "Citizen Kane". (ok, maybe not the latter ). William Randolph Hurst did......allegedly. If you're going to attempt to learn from mistakes, you're assuming people have the critical eye and thought process to do so. Big mistake because it tends to lead to something resembling most of the film reviews in this publication. Meaning it ends up as rambling art school bullshit verbage and unneeded assumptions about what people want in entertainment
. . . and the thing is, with this publicity, there will be public demand for copies of it. Hell, I want to look at it!!
Have a copy of this. Not sure if it beats Voyage of the Rock Aliens for worst movie of the 80's, but it's pretty damn bad.
Might have to make the Monday showing. Would be great way to unwind after a trig test!
Maybe this time they'll show the alternitave print of the film where Wash and Shephard don't get killed for no good reason.
What about Inglorious Bastards, Erik? No love for Nazi scalpers?

Re: “I'm Going Out”
Surely you jest. The original film was fucking BOOORRING. I'll take the Americanized, Finchered and Craiged version every time.
