BS show!!! Thanks Snoop Dicky Dick!! Not so much as an apology or a "Thanks for waiting for me Portland!!" Then after waiting 2 hours past the set start time you give a half hour set as opposed to the hour you were supposed to perform. My wife and I should've wiped our butts with the $100 you just basically stole from us, it would've been a better use than standing all night waiting when most people have day jobs they have to go to the following day. I've been to over 500+ concerts and I've never experienced such an "F" you to fans as I felt last night. Maybe this is why Snoop is playing smaller clubs now and not arena shows, this crap wouldn't fly there. Fourth and last time seeing Snoop unless he ends up on some package tour like a second Up In Smoke tour(haha, that'll never happen either)!!!!My wife and I wanted to leave at 11:30 but knew that without some kind of announcement about refunds we'd get screwed. I guess it's easier to half ass it and make the cash grab than to man up and admit you screwed up and give people their cash back. I mean, hey, he's the multi-million dollar entertainer I'm sure he needs the $10K-$25k he "earned" last night right!!! The only other time I've dealt with this was in '92 when I saw Metallica/Guns 'N' Roses at the Kingdome and in '06 when "new" Guns 'N' Roses played the Rose Garden. Axl Rose made fans wait until after midnight both times but at least he gave us our $$$ worth and delivered a blistering 2 and a half to three hour show and didn't care if he had to pay any union worker overages for late hours or curfew fees for performing past a certain time. Can you tell I'm irritated?
Overstock bitch doesn't have pride, truth, or anything that would make him worthy as an artist. I hope you get shot in the nuts snoop fuck-face.
Horrible. Snoop left his audience waiting for nearly two hours beyond his scheduled start time without an explanation, an apology, or any offers of a refund. Roseland's overzealous rent-a-cop patrol was more about nazi tactics and harrassing patrons than ensuring a safe, good time. It was a piss poor display and a hugely disrespectful way to treat people. We left when people started throwing things at the stage. From what I read, he finally showed up, did a piss poor 25-minute set and left. The Bossman lost a lot of respect and quite a few fans last night. NEVER again. Shame on you, Snoop. Marley would be so embarrassed. #snooplyin
Looking forward to VLD.

Puddle of Mudd best get their shit together... looks like the future is upon us
I felt very bad for the talented musicians (the instrument-playing bandmates) having to deal with that drunk wreck spoiling their show. Your music is awesome. Your frontman kills it. Too bad he never introduced you guys, you would've gotten some well-deserved applause. Ditch the drunk.
Can't wait for this one! Very Little Daylight will be performing @ 6pm
Felim Egan and his group were TREMENDOUS! We stopped in for the session last week and there were a dozen or so incredibly talented musicians jamming together. Our young baby loved the music, and my wife loved checking out the cute musicians. Definitely coming back next Monday.
NOFEST'13- Once upon a time a girl stepped off the beaten path, must've made the right sacrifices to the right gods (of Right Place/Right Time) & wound up:
* on The Loft's living room floor getting the b.s. removed from her brain by super-conductor Mike Lastra
* helpless as "Boo Frog" once again connected the starry firmament to earth's surface
*welcomed into Punk Paradise by a fearless angel in "The Hand That Bleeds"
*and beholding peak humanity when the power blew for few minutes, but "The 20-Foot Man" stormed forth into the willing, back-yard community audience's hearts-of-beauty with kinetic passion.
"Once upon a time called RIGHT NOW!"(P-Funk said that). Thank you, St. Johns NoFest (Roxandra Pennington said that.)
This show was everything live music should be and more. Leann's vocals and band were right on; their spontaneity and willingness to take risks are almost unprecedented in national touring acts today. Combined with her openness, honesty, emotion, and personal fan interaction made this a very special performance and more. Something you do not see often enough in live music. Highlights included Borrowed from her new CD, How do I Live, covers of Elton John’s Rocket Man & Janis Joplin’s Summertime, and the impromptu cover of Dave Matthew’s “Crash Into Me.” The latter of which came from a fan question on her favorite song, request to play, which led to the band literally working out the song on stage with Leann’s iPhone in hand for music & lyric support (I’ll assume). Leann is the real deal; this show leaves no doubt in my mind!
You obviously have no clue what you’re talking about, your remarks are invalid and rather childish it’s as if you weren’t even there so how can you give an honest review. Here is a review of last night’s show from someone who was there and I myself am a working musician. John was amazing, his guitar work was stellar and spot on and his voice although not 100% back to normal due to surgery was still great. His band was a combination some of the best backing musicians I have heard in a long time. The sound mix was very good, vocals a little muddy but guitar and music really solid. Stage was tight and the backdrop was amazing. So let’s see; killer guitar work, good sound, 2 ½ hrs of psychedelic pop/country blues which made for a very dreamy atmospheric soundscape, hmmm sounds like a great concert, YEP. I have not heard a lot of the music that was played last night, I don’t follow john closely but wow what cool music and great show. Next time you give a review at least go to the show. By the way tickets, were reasonably priced and how many bands play more than 2 hours? I got moneys worth.
How fitting that this is at the Sleep Country Amphitheater, though perhaps Snooze Barfy Barfitheater would be a more appropriate venue
Portland punk for the win!
This is going to be a loud one
lulu, please read "the elements if style." You can do it before or after you go fuck yourself, whichever is convenient.
what the fuck does having fred armisen at the opening have to do with you shopping there? if neil hamburger were gonna' be there, would you say 'okay, that's a cool enough guest to have me as a customer'..who the fuck are you anyway?
I'm pretty sure I'm going to be disinclined to patronize a shop that thinks having Fred Armisen there is hip and cool.
