I Love this place! It's low stress, non-pushy, down to earth sales people who will take all day with you if you need them to. Everything I've had framed there turns my friends heads when they come over. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Went to Sayler’s old country kitchen with my girl Saturday Night, it was packed we had a 30 min. wait but it was that time of night
We got seated in a nice booth I ordered the Filet Mignon and Trish ordered the Prime rib, when the food came my filet was bloody when I ordered it med well and Trish’s Prime rib was the ugliest most disgusting piece of Prime rib I have ever seen, the fat on it was solid lard. We pushed both dinners to the end of the table to be sent back, the owner
Walked by and asked what was wrong with our dinners I told him my was under cooked (which it happens) and then we told him about the prime rib, he laughed in our face’s and told us we don’t know what a good Prime rib looks like and offered to cut the lard off and bring it back. “WHAT THE HELL” tell the customer they don’t know what we are talking about, I have never been treated so badly in a restaurant before and by the owner no less, I said the hell with this we are out of here, we met with the Manager which was nice and understanding and told us they had a big run on Prime rib and he was sorry and shook his head like he knew the owner was a jerk but since he was the owner there was not much he could do. Worst restaurant experience I have ever had, the owner needs to learn some customer service skills from his waitresses!!!
Great place, great crust, nice people, Wonderous toppings. Beware: a "large" is huge!
Just want to interject here that the NW Classical Theatre Co. rents out its space to other theatre companies to do their independently-produced shows, so how much any of the reviewers loved or hated shows at the Shoe Box cannot necessarily be laid at NWCTC's doorstep.
Citybikes has and continues to be a very valuable resource in this city, and Tim Calvert has been central to it's history. This slander campaign against him is stupid in the extreme, and highly suspicious, especially since this "anti" group does everything to remain anonymous.
My advice: support Citybikes, and ignore these juvenile twerps who are more interested in stifling free speech and getting attention than helping people. Thank you. Andrew B
The name of their lounge (Mestizo) leaves me a bit uncomfortable with the symbol they use under it (a monkey).
The food and service in the restaurant section of the Nitehawk is fantastic across the board. I've had three different items so far (Baconburger, Biscuits and gravy, and pot roast) and all have been fantastic. Steven in the back is a good dude.
Probably the worst massage I ever went to. I asked for neck and shoulder work and he spent all the time doing some woo woo BS over my calves.
the phone number listed does NOT belong to Tokens Smoke & Skate anymore.
The tabor hill cafe is the single greatest restaurant in the world.
The family that owns and operates it are incredible nice, sweet, hard working people who always do their absolute best to be friendly and awesome.
This place is for breakfast food enthusiasts. It's not about what time it is, it is about what you're eating. Which is breakfast. Always; but take tuesdays off.
Hashbrowns go with anything.
If you are a white racist or a militant Jew-hater, Citybikes is certainly the bicycle shop for you. The Citybikes President, Tim Calvert, has been involved with antisemitic organizing for years, and does activism with Holocaust-deniers and white supremacists. This has been a known problem since 2009, yet Citybikes tacitly supports their President's bigoted political organizing.

To anyone thinking of trying to get a good meal here, STAY AWAY! There is a mentally disabled homeless man who frequents the area and he will, I kid you not, come up behind you while you're dinning, whip out his wang, and place it next to your ear, so that when you turn around you get unwashed homeless scrotum in on your face. I've seen this multiple times and it happens especially if you're eating outside, because the staff usually catches him when he comes inside, but not always. The restaurant tries to keep quite about this, but its something that must be shared. STRONG NOT RECOMMEND. Besides that the food is way overrated and the staff is unfriendly and mean.
2410 is BACK SATURDAY 15th doors open at 9!!!!
Very disappointed. The service was slow and non-attentive. Order was incomplete. The food was not good. Roast beef with mushroom gravy. Are you kidding? The roast was no more than 2 bites and I could not find a mushroom on the whole plate. When asked they were rude and unresponsive.
Will NEVER go there again. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!
We really enjoy listening to Shirley Nanette and her band on Sunday evenings at Billy Webb's. She adds to the welcoming atmosphere and enjoyment and the hours of 6-9pm are perfect for us. Thank you for keeping her; I wish it were still weekly.
Gratefully, Barbara L.
I live in the neighborhood and decided it was about time to try our local Thai restaurant. Ordered to-go. Got it home to find a less than half filled container of food! This was just barely enough for one plate full. But knowing what you usually get from Thai, Viet, Chinese take-out, I was shocked! Usually you would have enough for two plates plus leftover! This was ridiculous and totally not worth the price. Unfortunate, because I live so close, but I will go to any other Asian restaurant from now on if I don't want to waste my money.
HIRE MORE STAFF! The waitstaff is too busy. Waited at the door for over 10 minutes without anyone coming over to greet me then finally asked if they were seating and the man (who has been working there for years) was not only rude but just flat out mean (and I was nothing but nice to him). Get that man some help! He is mean every time. I've been coming to the Pied Cow for 10 years now and I'm finally OVER IT until they are nicer to their customers. The food is mediocre at best (costco desserts??). Nothing seemingly local or fresh. Nice atmosphere is the highlight (minus service).
Excellent cream puffs, cookies, and pies! The store is located inside the Uwajimaya grocery store. Correct phone number is 503 924-1101.
Awesome Vegan and Vegetarian Eats!! Not only do they have 2 locations in PDX for Vegan and Vegetarian Food (A N D Cafe ) they are now on Kickstarter ! Just put in Off the Griddle! They are going to combine both Off the Griddle and the Cafe for a new expanded Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurant!
Really impressed with the owner's passion for the sustainability and nutritional values of hemp. About time someone took a sane and forward-looking approach to this extremely versatile renewable resource. The food is great, too!!
