Really, it must have been during the LA years. You see, kids, back in 1987 there was a vicious predatory street mob in Portland called The Fixie Dicks. They were a real thing, made up of "dudes" that all lived together in two apartment houses in Goose Hollow. They collectively earned $816/10-12 average being bike messengers and gave Rainier Ale the name of "The Green Death" which would ultimately spell the demise of the illustrious brand that was.
